Closet: "Uptown Girl"

The first weekend of December I have been to New York with a friend- it was just awesome and I love love love NY! Even though it was really really cold (compared to the weather of Colorado I´m used to), we had so much fun and we´ve seen a lot. You can imagine how exhausted I´ve been when I was back home- a trip to a city is just always combined with a lot of walking: "Oh, it´s only 5 blocks away, we can definitely walk" and then you end up walking for 45 minutes because the 5 blocks aren´t that close as you thought. So on Monday morning I was so tired when my alarm rang at 6:30 I didn´t even want to get up to work. But that´s just how it is. ;)
It has been my second trip to New York and it was definitely not the last one! To everyone who hasn´t been there yet, a trip to the Big Apple is really worth it- even it´s only for a few days!

So that´s what I was wearing when we were strolling through the city and doing a bit of shopping at 5th Avenue. Actually I had a black leggins on but it was so damn cold I bought this wine read tights to wear over it- we found a store which sells amazing, warm and affordable clothes. It´s a japanese store on 5th Ave which is called "Uniqlo"- I´ve never heard of it before but I really liked it. Those pictures were shot in front of the famous "New York Public Library" which you probably all know from "The day after tomorrow" or Sex and the city- were Big and Carrie wanted to get married and finally didn´t end up to.

Kurztrip nach Berlin

Letzten Dienstag bin ich zukunftsbedingt nach Berlin geflogen und habe dort zwei wunderschöne Tage verbracht und in der kurzen Zeit wirklich viel erlebt! Zwei Tage klingt jetzt vielleicht nicht so lang, aber ich war bereits zweimal dort und habe schon so ziemlich alle nennenswerten "Touri-Attraktionen"gesehen. Deshalb war es umso interessanter Berlin in einem anderen Blickwinkel zu sehen, abseits des Touristik- Business, von einer einheimischen Bekannten geführt.

Tag 1:

Der Flieger ging schon um 7 Uhr morgens, was bedeutet, dass wir um 4 Uhr (!) aufstehen mussten!

Back from Amsterdam!

Ich möchte ja schon lange einen Post schreiben, aber Wordpress funktioniert im Moment irgendwie überhaupt nicht, deshalb was kurzes übers iPhone. :)
Wie man in der Überschrift unschwer erkennen kann, war ich übers Wochenende in Amsterdam. Und ich liebe die Stadt! Es war ein wirkliches schoenes Wochenende und ich würde am liebsten wieder zurück. Unter anderem auch, weil es hier schneit und dort kein Schnee lag und auch mal die Sonne rausschaute. :-)
Wenn Wordpress irgendwann in ferner Zukunft mal wieder funktionieren sollte, poste ich noch einen genaueren Artikel
mit vielen Bildern!
